Our Mission
The Gamma Iota Sigma Foundation serves a mission of ensuring equitable access to careers in insurance, risk management and actuarial science by lowering social and financial barriers for all students interested in industry careers. This mission allows Gamma Iota Sigma to carry out its vision of leveling the playing field so that all students can pursue their desired career path regardless of background, ultimately sustaining and diversifying the industry’s talent pipeline.

Supporting students by recognizing the paramount importance of mental well-being, offering an array of comprehensive mental health resources, and addressing the emotional and psychological needs of aspiring students.
